Edit: I had a custom made top created and replaced the original top. I love this table. We use it as a kitchen table as the space is narrow and we have 6 people who comfortably sit around this table on a daily basis. It’s easy to clean. I’ve had some very minor warping around the edges where the table connects from water spills but not super noticeable unless you’re looking. Even so, I have plans to eventually pay a carpenter to make a new table top for the dimensions of the legs if it eventually gets too warped. Arrived damaged on one corner and a small dent thru the veneer on the table top. Wayfair said the manufacturer would reach out in two business days but its so heavy I dont want to handle a return. I think Ill put a coat of lacquer on it to keep my kids from scratching it. For the price this is an excellent solid table. The reviews on this table are all over the place, so I wanted to share my honest experience. Quality 1010. This table is solid wood, very sturdy, and surprisingly heavy. It feels well-made and substantial. Packaging 1010. It arrived extremely well protected with no damage. Assembly 1010. Assembly couldn’t have been easier—you just attach the legs. As for the appearance, this is where I’m a little torn. I don’t love the finish. Instead of looking naturally rustic, it has more of a whitewashed, chalky look, and the wood has a slight pink undertone. In my opinion, the finish cheapens what is otherwise a beautiful table. Ironically, I actually prefer the look of the unfinished underside. That said, the table has definitely grown on me. I think it pairs beautifully with white upholstered dining chairs, and the overall shape is timeless and elegant. I also chose the 84-inch size after reading reviews that the smaller version looked a bit undersized compared to the chunky pedestal legs, and I’m really glad I sized up. Overall, while I’m not completely in love with the finish, I’m still happy with my purchase because the craftsmanship, quality, and design are excellent.
