Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place. The table arrived in a broken box and a small ding on a corner. The screws were loose in the box and 1 missing looked like parts had been previously opened.
