I absolutely love this pergola kit to do your own over a patio space, but, the instructions in giving one any kind of direction on how long it takes and really showing someone what they have to do were so, so poor. Said it would take a half hour. How about a couple of hours just to figure out how long the would needs to be then a day and a half to actually finish it. Not everyone is going to have a stone patio already in place so we will take some time away for that portion. We used redwood 4 x 4’s and had to remove the stones already in place and we took deck blocks and made it so they went upside down and placed them in the three holes we had removed the stones from so we could drill and place the hardware on the deck blocks to make them secure. The one thing that we found when trying to attach them into concrete there is not enough room to attach your hardware to it. So you have to drill your hole with a concrete 716th drill bit which also not mentioned so we had to buy a couple sizes till we had that figured out and then the picture shows us putting it into the metal piece and then hammering it into the wholes where it expands and holds it in place like a milky screw does in drywall. The other thing was how easily the screw heads would just snap off when you started screwing them into the wood. They give you plenty of hardware but we still had to go buy more as that was a huge issue so many broke and found no instructions on where to really start placement of pieces. We had to take sections apart just to attach a piece that was already in place to have the 4 x 4. If my daughter in law wasn’t good at figuring this out I might be on it for a few months, she did a beautiful job and it looks amazing and I can’t wait to put up lights next to give the ambiance I’m looking for. Do better with instructions and better hardware . An amateur would get so frustrated trying to get those screws into the cement to make it secure we did a lot of “You tube videos to get it done. For the cost, it's 4 stars. It has not made its way outside yet, so that could change. The pieces appeared damaged, and my husband struggled to assemble between that and the instruction booklet - took him probably 4 hours total and he was not happy LOL. But once built, it actually looks nice and I'm excited to use it! The outward facing panels are coated in a protective plastic that I would have assumed needed to be peeled off but my husband insisted that was not reflected in the instructions and so he left it on "to help keep the color from fading". Want a simple way to add storage to the inside of your shed. Purchase a deep shelf kit which comes with two 17.1 L x 28.3 W x H 2.8 shelves. The shelf easily attaches to a set of Biohort support rails, sold separately. Each shelf can hold 33 pounds. The height of the shelves can be rearrange effortlessly. Shelves can be installed in two ways. The sides can either be folded down for a completely open shelf, or the can be folded up to create sides to prevent objects from falling off. The shelves have easy installation, simply bend the sides in the direction you want, and then hook them into the support rails. No additional tools needed.
