The hardest thing was getting the box inside, due to the weight! I did the count & sort & read thru instructions once before starting. As I was doing it by myself, it took me 1 1/2 hours. The pictures were most helpful in where to place what screw, cam, peg & nail. It was tiresome due to the weight of many pieces, but it went well - no do- overs!. Jolanew. Ohio. Fri Jul 31 2026

I couldn’t be happier with these bookcases. They look beautiful, feel sturdy once assembled, and offer a surprising amount of storage. The combination of open shelving, drawers, and cabinet space makes them both functional and attractive. Assembly is definitely a two-person job and is a bit involved. Our first bookcase took about four hours to assemble, but by the time we built the second one, we’d learned the process and finished it in under three hours. One tip for future buyers the instructions have you attach the hinges to the cabinet doors first and then install them after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to attach the hinge hardware to the cabinet frame before installing the top panel, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it’s much easier than trying to work in a cramped space with tiny screws. Overall, these bookcases exceeded my expectations. They look far more expensive than they are, and I’d absolutely buy them again.. Hillary. Ypsilanti, MI. Mon Jul 13 2026

The bookshelf looks nice and was easy to assemble. I'm giving the product 4 stars instead of 5 because, compared to similar products I've ordered in the past, the drawers are a little wobbly/less smooth when opening & closing them, and the drawer bottoms are very thin. I wouldn't trust them enough to place heavy items in them.. Megan. Baltimore, MD. Thu Oct 01 2026

We are enjoying our bookcase. The light color fits in just fine with the other colors of bookcases. It was pretty easy to put together. The only complaint we have is that the top has spaced out little holes in the front. My husband says he followed the directions, so I guess we have to fill in the holes. Hmmm.... Carolyn. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026
