I am OBSESSED with these! I've loved window boxes since living in Germany in the 1990s but always had a hard time finding ones to fit my deck railings. I've done the wire holder with plastic box and they just looked blah. These look amazing! I can't wait until the grass grows tall and petunias and sweet potato vines spill over. I ended up also buying the supporting deck railing brackets because I worried about the composite balusters not being able to support such a heavy box when weighted with wet soil.. Maria. MA. This handcrafted, wooden planter box, ideal for indoor or outdoor use, features convenient drainage holes, making it the perfect home for your plants.

Love it !!!. Ronnie. Parsons, TN. Tue Jun 02 2026

When using outdoors, before planting, invert the container and remove the rubber stopper. Store the rubber stopper in a safe place to use at the end of the growing season. Removing the stopper will allow water to properly drain from the Countryside planter. For additional soil aeration, add a soil amendment such as perlite, small stones, or clay pieces to the bottom—and up to 1/3—of the container.

I’ve always wanted window planters, but they were too expensive! These are very sturdy at a reasonable price and fit on my windowsills perfectly! I love them. Nancy. Tucson, AZ. Sat Mar 22 2025

The RTS Home Accents Rectangular Planter provides additional landscaping and design options for your space. Enjoy the pleasure of gardening in any space, even indoors. The unique finish will fit with any décor and their size allows you to put your rectangular planter on any size deck or patio. The rectangular planter can also be raised with an optional sturdy metal frame.

Solid product BUT significant defect is NO DRAINAGE HOLES. Without them, expect anything planted to sit in soggy roil and rot. Had to buy drill bit and drill it out myself. I used Vulcan brand #028365, which is a 7/16” bit (just shy of 1/2 inch), the largest bit that will fit on a standard drill. Any hole smaller will clog readily and be useless. This is an inexpensive home-user brand readily available at many hardware stores. “Speed steel with a 135 deg split point eliminates the need for center punch and keeps drill from skating on hard surfaces.” Recommended for metals, but package also states plastics. You want the split point to keep the drill from skidding on slick plastic surface. Pain in the neck, though. Why does anyone make a planter without drainage!! I drilled four holes in each of the three bottom compartments - see photo.. Jane. Studio City, CA. Wed Apr 29 2026

These boxes aren’t just for windows. Try attaching these beautiful planters to patio walls, fences, gates, and even mailboxes. Made to fit 6" grower’s pot, with plenty of room for root growth.

These boxes are very solid and I like that they’re made from cedar, not pine. I chose to prime and paint mine but imagine the cedar would weather nicely if left unpainted. They come with screws and an easy hanging bar on the back. Overall pretty pleased with this purchase.. Anne. Concord, MA. Sun Jun 14 2026

Unfortunately useless. I was excited to get for my cats. The wood is very soft and split on me. It is flimsy sure it wouldn't last long in the weather. It doesn't fit my window leaving large gaps by the window extenders on the top and bottom. Critters could get in. Now Molly is mad at me WAYFAIR gave me full refund...ty. Anonymous. US.
