Unfortunately, I did have some quality/alignment issues. After assembling two stools, the footrests weren’t completely straight, the seats sat slightly crooked, and one stool had a noticeable wobble. Assembly itself was very simple (another bonus), so these seemed to be manufacturing/alignment issues rather than assembly problems. Very happy with these- I was replacing some adjustable height stools (one had quit being adjustable) and wanted swivel but without adjustable feature. I liked the look of these and seat height was exactly where the adjustable ones usually “lived”. They feel very sturdy and the seat is ample width and thick firm padding. They are lower profile too so don’t block sight line of counter (upper back sits right at counter level). I think it will be a good height for grandkids too.
