This is a solid piece of furniture that was incredibly easy to assembly not made of nice heavy solid wood and slides open really smoothly. When you flip it open make sure it’s slid to the middle so it doesn’t over bend, it needs to be in the middle to be even.. Tiia. Somerville, MA. Thu Oct 15 2026

For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . Moving elderly parent in with us. Perfect size for a small room. The set is beautiful, but very challenging to put the chairs together. My husband is very mechanically inclined and never has problems putting things together, but these chairs were challenging.. Lori. Fawn Grove, PA. Sun Sep 27 2026

Ideal for cozy spaces, this delightful Castellon Drop Leaf Rubber Solid Wood Dining Table offers traditional appeal with an efficient footprint. Made from solid rubberwood, this charming design features a clean-lined tabletop with four tapered square legs. A half-a-circle drop-leaf easily converts a two-person table to comfortably accommodate three, while the opposite straight edge allows you to place the table flush with a wall. To maximize space in the eat-in kitchen, start by rolling out a rustic linen area rug for a pleasant pop of pattern, then place this table by a brightly lit window to enjoy weekend breakfasts in the summer breeze. Top the table with a gingham runner and a hand-painted ceramic vase of freshly cut petunias for a floral centerpiece for any occasion.

Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Everything was exactly as shown in the picture and it works out perfectly in a small unit. As I am 70 years old, it did take me one hour to put it together. But I did it myself!. Hazel. Sun City, AZ. Really easy to build and very sturdy but I was missing a whole set of screws. I think they accidentally put in more of another set because I had more than enough to build the piece and it works perfectly as I imagine it should. Also, the hinges are visible when it’s folded and very visible because it’s silver on dark walnut but it is what it is. It’s sturdy, doesn’t wobble and the table top is flat when it’s up. Can’t complain for the price and it does exactly what I needed - take up very little square footage. Judy. Nyack, NY. Thu Jun 11 2026
