That being said, I was able to assemble it by myself and get it turned right side up onto its legs by myself also. I am a 74 year old woman who is almost totally blind in one eye and I have significant tremors in both hands. THAT is how easy it is to assemble this piece with the provided scrws and alan wrench! Just attach the legs- period! The screw holes are threaded metal and perfectly located. The extension is automatically brought up when you pull on the end of the table. It is very smooth operating! Beautiful table. Nice sleek style but be prepared for 1-2 replacements and needing to be present for delivery. I missed two delivery windows because I was not aware it came with white glove service even if you didnt request it. The first table came very damaged so they sent a replacement. That also had a minor paint issue and the hinges to extend the table did not work 100 I eventually worked out a compromise with wayfair because I was not confident a 3rd table wouldnt also be damaged and I was really attached to the length of the table because I have a large dining area. This table looks great and feels sturdy once it's put together; that's the good news. The assembly, though, was one of the worst my husband and I have dealt with. There are no written instructions, only pictures, and the only labeling anywhere is a set of letters for the screws. The actual wood pieces have no letters or numbers on them, so matching a piece in the diagram to the piece in your pile is mostly guesswork. It turns into a heavy, unintuitive jigsaw puzzle rather than a normal furniture build. If you're patient and handy, you'll get there, but plan for it to take much longer than a typical flat-pack table, and go in with two people. Would I recommend this? Probably not.. Anonymous. The table top has 3 significant chips out of the top layer exposing the particle board but I am still giving a 5 star rating because it was very easy to send photos of these areas on Wayfair’s app and they shipped both replacement pieces out right away at no charge for the parts or the shipping and I do not have to send the chipped pieces back so excellent customer service!. For the most part this is a very study table and easy to assemble. I gave it four stars because the table was damaged upon delivery. Customer service at Wayfair gave us several options to remedy the situation and were great to work with, but in the end we settled for a 20% discount which was enough to repair the table.
