It isn't heavy so is not difficult to handle, with that being said, the Mason Cash products are substantial and very well made. I have several pieces of Mason Cash from dog bowls to large mixing bowl. I love the embossed floral design on this teapot. The top is secure so pouring is easy. The glaze is silky smooth.
