He stated that the directions were not included so he had to look them up. It took longer than expected but after fully assembled there were no real issues. The unit does not have a top because it is meant to go under a counter top. The finish is decent. Solid, good finish to the wood, looks great, but the instructions are terrible. Instructions are pictures only, and it's not clear what they are trying to indicate. The videos I found for this exact product are for different style of attachment, so not helpful. I have put together many of these types of furniture. Just note - with this specific piece, the assembly guide was only instructions, nothing visual. It took 4 hours to assemble as there weren't any pre-drilled holes and you just had to figure it out (which I did by watching YouTube videos of other people assembling a similar type of piece).
