This is a great gadget for that rarely used cabinet space above the refrigerator. While you can't fit as much on the racks as you would in the bare cabinet, it's the accessibility that makes it worthwhile. Also consider that what you store must be somewhat lightweight or it won't function. I used it in a rental property for melamine dinnerware so renters won't take the good dishes outside. I wouldn't call these high end but I wouldn't expect that for the price. They arrived intact and were very easy to assemble. I ended up putting a few extra screws in to make sure they were stud mounted. There is no wiggle room in the preset mounting points. The cabinet arrived in great condition. Instructions were easy to follow and all hardware is included. The hinges are heavy and good quality. The handles are light, but they are metal. It is made of an MDF type of material covered with a sort of slick and shiny veneer. We are using it for storage in our mechanical room. It’s great for that and would be great for garage storage too. These are really nice cabinets, and they appear to be solidly built. As other reviewers have noted, the assembly instructions are not helpful, and none of the holes were pre-drilled. I am usually pretty good at putting furniture together, but this time I got a handyman to put these together. The hardware for putting the cabinets together is included, but there is no mounting hardware. The cabinets arrived pretty well packaged, but one of the panels had a slight dent in it from pressure from the hardware package. It doesn’t show now that the cabinets are assembled and on the wall, so it wasn’t a problem. Despite these drawbacks, I’m satisfied with the product. I looked at a number of alternative products, and these seem to be the best of the affordable off-the-shelf options. We painted them, and they took the primer and paint smoothly and nicely.. Joan.
