Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great. The smoker is equipped with a side wood chip loader, so there's no need to open the door to add wood chips during the smoking process. This helps to seal in the heat of the food. Adding a box of wood chips will last for 2-3 hours of smoking, which helps avoid the need for frequent addition of wood chips and is perfect for beginners. And smoker equipped with 2 rear rolling wheels and handle, you can move the smoker as you like wherever you want to use it. And when you are finished using it, it can easily be moved to a corner without taking up space of your patio.

As it relates to this smoker I can attest that this East Oak Smoker does an amazing job. If using all 4 racks remember to offset the meat so you can experience evenly smoked/cooked meat. The vertical design with four adjustable racks gives plenty of space to cook multiple items at once. My only complaint is the front glass seal isn’t as tight as it should be, and I’ve noticed some smoke escaping. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. Wow! This a really nice smoker/grill. It's soo much bigger than I thought it would be, which is a good thing. It's solid, sturdy, and each level comes apart easily. Assembly was super easy. Overall well made. Moderate skill level for assembly, only tool needed was a screw driver and I had acrylic nails on. This bad boy smoked a whole Turkey and it was delicious. As a charcoal grill, it’s not the greatest as you have to use the lower levels so while cooking you are lifting off 2 giant levels as a lid. The heat distribution is off as well, the first use I thought maybe I didn’t use enough charcoal but had the same issues on second use. Temperature gauge shows temperature up to 400 yet the corn was still frozen in the middle. Perhaps this is beginning user error, perhaps I should remove one level when using a charcoal grill style. Love this smoker! Made it easy to pretty much set and forget. Digital display was outstanding and it held the temp nicely. Also did not take much time to get back up to temp after opening. The grill was easy to assemble and will be great for this summer in the backyard. However the metal is a little thin and will need to seal as you can see in the first photo, it will be hard to trap the heat because the quality is a little on the lower end.
