I really was excited about this water filtration system but after setting it up I have to say I’m kind of disappointed. I have been buying bottled water for a long time because even tap water that’s been filtered through a filter that attaches to my kitchen faucet gives me heartburn. On top of that I got a letter from the city saying my water is coming into my house through lead pipes! So I felt it was time to up my water filtration game! My biggest concern with this system is that I wasn’t able to find a replacement filter anywhere. The manufacturer and big box store that sell them show them as sold out. This system came with a filter but what good is it if I can’t get a replacement filter when I need one The set up was a pain as well because it requires running four liters of water through the machine three times before you can use it. So, after all that, how does the water taste It’s ok. It’s not really good tasting water. It also takes up more counter space in my small house. It does what it says so I give it four stars but I’m not going to tell all my friends to buy one. Also, two pieces of plastic were broken off the lid to the water reservoir. Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed.
