This mattress has truly been a great lifesaver for our back pain. My husband has a herniated disc and requires a very firm mattress. This did take a full 48 hours to completely get to its firmness, so don’t be discouraged after it compresses on the first day. I am also sleeping with my baby and follow the safe seven sleep method which requires a very firm mattress. This mattress falls into the guidelines for safe co sleeping, and I’m ecstatic to find one in a great price point. We highly recommend this mattress. Updated review. I unfortunately have to remove one star as as I was waiting for the bed to expand. I realize that it was not expanding lengthwise. I’m extremely happy with this mattress! I chose the 14-inch model, and it exceeded my expectations. It provides an excellent balance of comfort and support—the Euro top and memory foam feel plush, while the pocketed coils keep my spine well aligned. The mattress expanded quickly after unboxing, has very little odor, and feels well made. I also appreciate that it’s fiberglass-free and CertiPUR-USOEKO-TEX certified. After sleeping on it, I wake up feeling well-rested with much less stiffness than on my old mattress. For the price, the quality is outstanding. Maybe this is a me problem since I didn’t think about it in advance but this mattress is extremely thick, which means standard sheets will not be able to reach over the top of tuck underneath it. The mattress is perfectly comfortable (I bought a twin size for my sons bed) but I’m now annoyed that I will have to buy all new sheets with deep pockets if I want to be able to tuck them in, which I like to do to have a clean look..
