This is a well-built umbrella All parts look weatherproof The large square 10' canopy give us excellent shade, and it holds up in the wind very well The only downside is that we use it with our patio table, and we cannot roll it down all the way because the long spines come in contact with the edge of the table which is probably due to the size of the umbrella Other than that, we are completely happy with the product. Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend..
