The box became damaged during transit. After opening and removing the first layer of the plastic wrap I begin hearing an oozing sound, contrary to me not even opening the standard vacuum wrapped plastic. The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it.
