11 Inch High Lampshade

Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. Absolutely beautiful....it arrived quickly yesterday and when I replaced the ivory shad with this one, it changed the room and uplifted the beauty of the lamp. Lamp shade arrived in good condition with no issues. It was suspended inside the box with a long plastic stick with disks at both ends that were held in place by the flaps of the box. It took a while to figure out how to detach the stick without damaging the lamp shade. Then I had to figure out how to remove it from the shade. I ended up breaking it in half. My only problem was the measurement used to determine the height. The product description used the length of the slant. However, that measurement isn’t necessarily reflective of the actual height.
