This was kind of a pain to assemble. You have to feed the cord through the legs of the lamp and it kept getting stuck. Also the actual light piece or the top of the lamp has no bracket to hold it in place. I had to peel back some of the light cover to make it stay attached to the bottom portion So it looks ok and has a nice glow to it but I’m worried that some one could bump it and the top part would fall off. When reaching such a distance with a fixture it is important that it feels visually efficient in its form but is still far from fragile; inviting one to linger under it. The adjustability in the reach and the height of the shade makes it possible to custom fit the piece to its surroundings; an important characteristic for such a large piece.
