Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight.. This is beautiful. Just be forewarned, it's a royal pain to build it by yourself (minus the times you need at least 2-3 others to lift parts while building it). The quality of this "iron" gazebo is pretty disappointing. It feels like aluminum and the panels are plastic and are scratched looking put of the box. There is discoloration on one of the panels. Maybe from being in the sun? I am not sure exactly it appears whiteish on the gray panel. Not great since it is meant to be outside. Some of the parts that are metal are bent and scratched. The assembly instructions are awful as well. I have an event in a few days that I purchased this for so hopefully it will come together and not look absolutely cheap and rickety once it is fully assembled. Arrived incredibly fast! It was really easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the base by myself, and then my daughter and nephew helped with the top. That part took a little longer (thanks to a few snack and break interruptions ), but the total active assembly time was about 6 to 6½ hours. It’s already held up through some heavy rain and high winds here in the Chicago area—and that was before we even anchored it to the concrete. So far, I’m absolutely loving it. The gazebo is beautiful once completed. It took about 4 days to assemble on weekends with 2-3 people. We were missing 2 pieces of wood for the roof. I messaged to notify right away however, not knowing how long that would set us back getting the roof up, we made the pieces needed which took more time, and they don’t match, but it works. I absolutely adore my new four-season gazebo! It’s spacious, sturdy, and incredibly strong. I secured the post using heavy-duty bolts on a reinforced deck foundation. The instructions were not the most user-friendly, but since I’m quite handy with assembling things, I managed to comprehend most of the directions. However, I can understand how some people might find it challenging. Lastly, please don’t be like me and attempt to assemble this gazebo on your own. Our patio is very nice but it was in need of a 'structure'. I've always loved the tiki bar vibe and margaritas so we decided to turn this into just that. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and I'm glad I did. While most reviews were positive, there were some things mentioned that were a little concerning. Quite a few people mentioned they were missing parts/pieces, others mentioned it took more than 2 people to assemble as there are a lot of parts and pieces. Every time we moved on to another section I held my breath that everything would be there. Only my husband and I assembled this and it took us about 2 days. We didn't work on it consistently but it is quite a job. One thing you should note if you buy one...when looking at the instructions be sure to pay attention to the orientation of it in the pictures. It is sometimes hard to tell if you're looking at the front or back. We are still in the process of getting it set up the way we want (signage, chairs etc.) but look forward to entertaining and using it for such an event. Side note: Included should be a bottle opener AND paper towel holder but my paper towel holder was missing.
