We ordered two of these for our western windows. The kitchen could get up to 104°, however, after installing these, we don’t have a problem with that anymore. They’re relatively easy to assemble, but we’ve had experience putting things together. Someone who’s never put something like this together, the instructions are only pictures. The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble. Haven’t yet installed my awning, did not know it was intended for a concrete building. After reading the list of parts my son found there was an option for wood fasteners. These were much larger in real life than I was expecting but seemed the right size once installed. They came with decent instructions but pictures only so takes a little to figure out. They came with rubber stripes to put between pieces but they dont make a tight seal so I bought 12 backer strips to add between the frame and plexiglass for a tight seal.
