This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day. this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. Such a nice shade!! This puts our old shade to shame. I am very happy with the upgrade. I was leery about the winch situation but when I figured out how I wanted to mount it, it turned out working perfect. Great solution for privacy, but one arrived damaged. This light‑filtering outdoor roll‑up shade was exactly what we needed to add privacy to our backyard pavilion while still letting in plenty of light. It creates a comfortable, more enclosed feel and looks great once installed. Unfortunately, one of the shades arrived damaged, which was disappointing.
