Best thing is it can be used if you choose so to monitor you status of being home or away via geofencing which will automatically shut the water flow to the house if a leak is detected while your away. I recieved this product but have not yet had enough time to install it. I would rather wait to review it but don't want to ignore the reminders. I like the idea of this product being able to sense a water leak & shutting off the water to prevent water damage in my home. I'm a bit concerned that it has no battery back up in the event a leak occurred during a power failure. I'm sure American Standard will upgrade that issue in future models. I might rate the product higher if I knew more about the functionality after installing.
