Looks good overall, but a couple downsides. One is that when sitting up watching TV or reading, your head leans against the sharp corners of the headboard which is quite uncomfortable. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. Overall I would say this bed frame is a good purchase; High quality solid wood construction, sturdy hardware , and the honey finish is beautiful. That said it’s worth noting that the size of the bed frame in the listing is not accurate. We bought this frame specifically to fit a twin bed sized small niche that is set into the wall of my son’s bedroom. According to the listing this bed should have fit perfectly. It is actually almost an inch wider than the specifications say measuring just over 77 inches wide . This detail might not be a challenge for most buyers but I feel like it should be changed in the listing for accuracy. Also , it’s worth noting that the finish is not incredibly durable and does scratch easily.
