Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. Great stand…you can only mount the tv one way though and for us that meant the doors would open toward the bed as we put this at the end of our bed. This TV stand is just beautiful, looks amazing in person and it is heavy and sturdy as well. They suggest to have two people to assemble it but I did on my own. Arm yourself with strength, though. And if poSsible, use an electric screw driver, there are a lot of screws to attach. Also, I used some Titebond glue in the tighteningassembly screws to help with stability. I actually really like this TV stand in my space! It’s allows me to free up a lot of space and make the most of my living room. It’s sleek, and pretty easy to assemble. I would’ve give it 5 stars if I was more confident in the stability. This is a 55” TV yes it holds it, but I suspect if one of my kids hits it, it’s going down.
