There are a LOT of parts in this accent chest. It took nearly three hours to assemble. Having said that, the instructions were straightforward and it came together well. There is no wobble when you open the doors, and the doors are very symmetrical and clothes easily. The design is a lovely Bohemian style. I left the legs off of mine and put one on top of the other and secured it to the wall to form a hutch. It is just beautiful and everyone who sees it thinks it looks great. The cabinet seems sturdy and well-made, the colors of the drawers are pretty true to the photos. However, the bird paintings are pretty bad, they are not as vibrant as the photos and look like they were done by an 8-year-old; it did come from China, so who knows :/ It does smell pretty strongly of paint when unwrapped, so didn’t love that. The frame of the side cabinet is made of birch wood, which is stable and not easy to crack. The wood is dense, hard and strong, and the surface of birch wood has excellent luster. Wear resistance, not easy to crack deformation.
