I fell in love with this light as we designed and renovated the first floor of a clients house. Our client was surprising particular about his dining room light. Most design recommendations he readily accepted so I was surpised when he vetoed several dining room light suggestions. After presenting our client with several more options, he selected this fixture in black. He liked the lines of the fixture with his curved, gently swooping top. He liked that it didn't have any wood detailing. And He loved the interior contrasting color. Having a pendant that could be set to a height for the current table and adjusted down the road for a new dining room table, was important. (electrician left extra cord length in the box in ceiling). Our mid century modern pendant lighting orange glass works well in many different styles of indoor decor, from modern to vintage. Orange green hand-blown glass hanging lamps with ribbed/texture looks very special and creative.
