Medium Wood Computer Desk

This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail. This desk comes in about nine hundred pieces and is very very tedious to put together. I guess I should have known that but honestly the few hours I had to dedicate to putting it together was a bit of a let down. And then you also realize it’s not as nice of quality as you were expecting since all the pieces are cheaper. But it looks nice enough once it’s together. It gets the job done. Honestly the keyboard tray is why I wanted this and it’s okay, but a little clunky lookingfeeling. I think next time I would try to find a solid wood desk, but for the price I guess you get what you pay for. LOVE this!! Almost as much surface area as the old rectangular desk but fits nicely in the corner giving it enough room to pull down the new Murphy bed without having to move it. looks classy and expensive. I will warn that it is super heavy. the top piece alone is like half the weight of the desk. was able to install it by myself just fine, went together quite quickly with a drill. While the bottom could home a pc, I was advised against for gpu performance reasons, but you totally could if you wanted to with the hole for cords in the back. there is a shelf that sits in there that I took out in the picture..
