Exquisite arched mantel clock with an elaborate walnut finish and brass feet. The glass sides allow access to view the precision Westminster chiming movement in action.

Very disappointing. This is an expensive clock with a full retail price of $2,370, and I expect it to reflect the quality of a fine clock. The wood case should be nicer. It is not as shown in the photo. The brass feet are uneven. The brass handle on the top feels and looks cheap and unfinished. The back door is not flush. The hammers that strike the chime rods need adjustment as the tone is stifled. Hermle has a reputation for producing fine clocks. Based on this clock, they do not deserve such reputation.
