The Howard Miller Akron is an exquisite bracket-style mantel clock designed to bring a regal presence to your home or office. Expertly crafted in the USA from select hardwoods and veneers, the clock is finished in a rich Windsor Cherry, creating a sophisticated centerpiece for any hearth or shelf. Its architectural profile is embellished from top to bottom with premium details, including a brass-finished handle, reeded columns with turned caps, and a matching reeded base that frames the decorative dial.
The focal point of this timepiece is its luxurious brushed nickel-finished dial, which features an applied brass-finished, etched fret center disk and ornate corner ornaments. The dial is further enhanced by a silver numeral ring with a black floral pattern, applied brass-finished numerals, and elegant serpentine hands, all framed by a raised brass-finished bezel. Gracefully styled fret panels on the clock’s sides add visual interest and mechanical depth. Powered by a German-made movement, the Akron combines historical artistry with modern quartz precision, offering a melodic and customizable auditory experience.
