It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great. It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it.
