The instructions were easy to follow on getting this put together. Definitely was a lot faster with two people. I thought the headboard might be taller, so I was a little bit disappointed in that. The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. We love our Murphy Bed! My husband and I put it together which took about 4 hrs. We recommend having two people to assemble it. I liked putting it together and the directions were easy to follow too. The reason I did 4 stars out of 5 is because there was a scratch crack in one of the major pieces and we were already halfway done with putting it together and needed it the next day, so we werent about to take it apart to order another. Also, one of the screw holes broke on the locking piston upon screwing one of the screws in and we didnt even screw it in that hard. The only thing I thought could use some improvement would be with the hinges where a mattress lay.
