I ordered two chests. I liked that it is solid wood, a soft wood, but nonetheless WOOD. Assembly took a bit of time on the first one which made the assembly of the second one easier. One was perfectly fine with all the parts intact. The second one had some drawer section that were cracked. I fixed them with Gorilla glue as they don't show and are in the interior of the chest. This dresser came packed well with no damage. The best part is that it was fully assembled. It looks exactly like the picture. Make sure you check the measurments and these are very small in person. We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). Five stars for the super quick arrival time, the friendly, efficient delivery team, and the fact that I didn’t have to assemble this except to screw feet on. The dresser itself? Meh. I was fortunate to receive one that wasn’t damaged, but the quality is 2-3 stars. The drawers don’t close without some extra force, as they’re on cheap plastic sliders. And the drawers are super shallow, there is a ton of wasted space. It’s cute and I’m in the process of swapping out the knobs for brass, but if I could do this over, I would have put this money towards an option from a higher end store, or paid less for a dresser I’d have to assemble, and may have ended up with better quality..
