After searching for months I finally found the clock I was looking for. It’s perfect.. Debbie. Missouri. Tue Sep 29 2026

Natural wood whispers through interlocking grains, intense yet restrained; a porcelain-like dial lifts baked-metal hands while Roman numerals turn time into poetry. A glass divider creates both display and storage in one quiet gesture, and chapel chimes report the hour only when you ask, at the volume you set. Wood, metal and glass share one calm heartbeat—minimal enough to disappear, elegant enough to make the wall shine.

IT’S ABOUT TIME … AND PATIENCE: This clock is classic and beautiful with a gold rim around its face, gold numbers, gold scrollwork, black ornamentals, and spindly hands. Another reviewer stated the cover over the face is plastic instead of glass and that the "wood" is really pressed cardboard hiding beneath a thinly veiled veneer. I think he was right about the cover - it does feel like plastic instead of glass. The wood feels like wood to me. I hope it is since the clock is described as being made of wood. The chime melodies are all beautiful and a joy to hear … except at night when I want to sleep. Fortunately, the volume can be lowered or the chimes can be turned off between 11 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. or turned off altogether. I would like to keep the back cover on all the time but it’s a bit of a pain to put on after removing it to switch chimes on or off. It’s important to READ THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE attempting to install batteries and set the time. And it takes patience to get the chimes to sound on the hour. I used my smartwatch with a second hand to set the time so that it would chime at the right time. It’s not perfect but it’s as close as my patience allows. Like most everything else, the clock is made in China. It’s sad that it’s not made in the United States. At just over $200, I feel like I’m paying good money for something lacking the quality of past years (plastic cover and the possibility of veneer instead of real wood). So only four stars for not being made in the United States and possibly cheaper materials.. Pixie. Florida. Mon Jul 13 2026

This clock is with a unique and timeless design. It is suitable for your room.

The bell is very hard to hear. Would be nice is the numbers were not in the glass dome but on a face. Other than that the clock is great. After regulating it keep great time.. Rongner. Monee, IL. Sun Oct 17 2021
