It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. It must’ve been the manufacturers problem since I was reading the instructions correctly and the screws just won’t go in. You can't go wrong with this bed in the camel color. It is absolutely gorgeous and elegant looking. The bed is comfortable and the perfect height with mattress only. If you add a box spring which ones not needed, it will be too high. The price included assembly which was nice but I believe the delivery guys damaged one of the side panels on the headboard when they opened the box, probably with a box cutter. There is a nice slice in the material. I reported it and Wayfair provided prompt assistance. Its sturdy metal frame is wrapped with a soft and durable cotton blend and filled with foam for added comfort. We also love how it comes with a traditional button-tufted headboard and footboard, so there's no need to buy those separately. Something to keep in mind: Don't forget to purchase a box spring separately (it's necessary and not included in your purchase).

Depending on how tall your box spring is, it might show above the side panels but when the bed us made, you can't see it.
