The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel has a storied history. The original hotel was built in 1893 on 33rd Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City and it was the first hotel to offer 24-hour room service and electricity on every floor. When it debuted in its current Park Avenue location, it was the largest and tallest hotel in the world. Its groundbreaking legacy continues to this day, as a masterful example of Art Deco architecture and an icon of luxury. While our own Astoria is more humble in its legacy, you might find that this small but beautiful detail adds a certain historic elegance to your home. Available as either a cabinet or door knob style.

We had this brand at our old house. They have since changed up the inner workings which in one case is great and in another bad. The good part is the door knobs no longer get screwed on and thats a huge plus. The bad part is the door can be shut with the door in the locked position. It doesnt unlock unless the interior knob is turned. The knobs can also bind up if the faceplate is attached too tight to the door. Even with these downsides...it is a nice set and plan on purchasing a dozen more.. John. WV. Tue Sep 22 2020

Great quality. Love these knobs. Kellie. Weymouth, MA. Thu Oct 01 2026

The Studio Short Plate is a great choice for interior doors that favor clean lines and understated detail. At 4" x 2-½" , it offers more presence than a round rosette while maintaining a simple, balanced profile. Made from solid brass, it provides strength, weight, and everyday durability. The look is defined by the Waldorf crystal door knob, featuring a bold multi-faceted round shape that captures and reflects light beautifully, this pairing brings classic sparkle to interior doors. Crafted from clear lead-free crystal with a base, it offers lasting durability and refined elegance for bedrooms, bathrooms, and formal living spaces. Nostalgic Warehouse door hardware offers premium interior and entry door sets crafted from solid forged brass, blending authentic period design with lasting durability for traditional, vintage, and restoration-style homes. Beautiful knobs. Adds a vintage touch to your home decor.. Nicole. Brick, NJ. Mon Apr 27 2026

Classic and crisp, the Fifth Avenue Short Plate strikes the perfect balance between long plates and rosettes. Combine with the dark, intriguing beauty of the Black Baguette Knob, where opulence meets mystique.

Love these doorknobs. I recently renovated my bedroom and master bath and updated my his and her closet builders knobs with these beautiful knobs. I was surprised of the presence these have all on their own and they are noticed when showing family my new renovations. I would greatly recommend for an instant upgrade.. Melodie. Louisville, KY.
