This has to be one of the best air conditioners I’ve ever had in my life! I love how it’s not so bulky and takes up half the window. This is really one unique design. Not only is it very fashionable, but what a difference this makes keeping the room cool. I have an older house and it’s hard to keep it cooled down, but this air conditioner makes such a difference. One of the best things I love about this is how quiet it is. You can barely hear this thing running it’s so quiet. I can’t say enough great things about this. It’s a must for anyone who needs an air conditioner! 5,000 and above stars!!!!. Leslie. WV. Sat Aug 08 2026

After dealing with a freestanding portable AC for years, it makes sense this LG window unit feels like a big upgrade. Portable units tend to struggle with efficiency and air distribution, and they’re usually noisier and more cumbersome than people expect once the novelty wears off. A well-designed window unit removes a lot of that friction right away. What stands out most in what you’re describing is the combination of ease and control. Installation on modern LG window units is typically much more straightforward than older models, and once it’s seated properly, they tend to feel more “set and forget.” The cooling performance is usually more consistent too, since window units can vent heat more effectively than freestanding setups. That difference alone can make a room feel noticeably more stable in temperature rather than cycling between hot and “sort of cool.” The convenience features are where these newer models really separate themselves from older generations. The remote is no longer just a bonus—it becomes how you actually interact with the unit day to day. And the app control takes it a step further, letting you adjust temperature, modes, and timers without having to be physically near the window. That kind of flexibility is especially useful in bedrooms or larger spaces where you don’t want to keep getting up to tweak settings. Overall, it sounds like you moved from a “good enough” cooling solution to something that actually fits into daily life smoothly—quietly doing its job while giving you more control with less effort.. This U-shaped inverter window AC delivers ultra-quiet 32dB operation by placing the compressor outside while keeping full window light and views. With 12000 BTU (ASHRAE) cooling, ±1°F accuracy, 4 fan speeds and 4-way airflow, it efficiently cools medium to large rooms. The inverter design saves up to 37% energy with a $61 estimated yearly cost. It supports smart app, voice, remote and touch control, offers 6 modes, and fits standard windows with included accessories. Complete with safety locks, timer and washable filter for easy, reliable home cooling.

Quietest air condition ever. I was holding my breath when I ordered this AC for a sliding glass window in our sunroom(about 350 sq ft) that was 19.25" wide (one side). Yes, we had to remove one side of the slider and install a panel above the unit. The AC fit almost perfectly and the install was easy. (They even provide little custom cut foam pieces for the top of the unitbto go between the unit and the side filler pieces). We let it set for 24 hours, as suggested in several text messages. Plugged it in and turned it on. It ran thru it's system check and started cooling. It wasn't a ghastly hot day so the temp in the room was in the mid 80s. Within 10-15 quiet minutes, the sunroom was a very pleasant 80° on it's way to 75°. When I used on a ghastly hot day, the sunporch temp was 94. It took it about 30 min to get room to a tolerable 84 with fan on low. When I increased the fan speed, it got down to 80 quickly. When you turn it on it automatically sets to 75. SO QUIET - both inside and out. The buttons and readout on the front are large and intuitive. I'll keep the instructions handy because any function other than cooling isn't intuitive. So far, all we have used is the AC, and we couldn't be more pleased. My only suggestion would be to make the bridge adjustable like on some of the other AC's that don't have the inverter technology. (We bought this unit specifically because we wanted the newer inverter technology.) It has adjustable "feet" on the outside to hold the AC in place. Because the house has vinyl siding, we put a board between the "feet" and the siding to prevent damage to the siding (especially when the temps drop.) We would buy this unit again without hesitation.. Jana. Louisville, KY. Sun Sep 13 2026

Stay cool without compromising your space. The Hisense UltraSlim Window Air Conditioner delivers powerful cooling for your space, all from a sleek, low-profile unit designed to blend into your home rather than dominate it. Whether it's your living room, bedroom, or home office, this AC keeps things comfortable without sacrificing the look of your property. At the heart of this unit is inverter technology, which continuously adjusts compressor speed to maintain your ideal temperature while consuming less energy than a traditional air conditioner. The result is consistent, stable cooling that runs noticeably quieter — so you stay comfortable without the constant hum. Control is entirely on your terms. The ConnectLife app puts full operation in your hands from anywhere, letting you adjust settings before you even walk through the door. With three modes — Cooling, Fan, and Dehumidifier — and four-way air direction for even distribution throughout the room, you can tailor the environment to your liking. Installation is straightforward thanks to the included easy installation bracket, which keeps the unit securely in place. The washable, removable filter takes minutes to clean and helps maintain air quality over time.

The Hisense Inverter Window Air Conditioner delivers efficient, consistent cooling for your space— with the intelligence to adapt in real time to your environment. It's designed for people who want their home to feel right without thinking about it constantly. Inverter technology keeps the compressor running at the precise output needed to hold your ideal temperature, reducing energy consumption and avoiding the on-off cycling that leads to temperature swings and excess noise. A dedicated Fan mode improves air circulation independently, while four-way directional airflow ensures even distribution throughout the room — comfort that reaches every corner, not just directly in front of the unit. Upkeep is minimal thanks to a washable, removable filter that's easy to clean and reuse. This unit meets ENERGY STAR standards, reflecting a design that takes efficiency seriously. You can invest in long-term comfort with genuine confidence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner is hands down the best I've ever owned. It installed so easily, and I just can't get over how quiet it is! The fact that I can use Alexa to turn the unit on and off is such a plus as I like to keep the door shut to that room. I can also use the remote when in bed and need to adjust. It cools so quickly, and efficiently. I like the modern design too.. Deeds33. PA. Tue May 16 2023

There are some good features to this air conditioner. It is lightweight and easy to carry and install into the window. It has several modes and the lowest setting makes very little noise. The "quiet" setting is very quiet. It doesn't give the cold cooling feeling that old air conditioners do and feels more like a central air conditioning system. My windows are non standard wide so I had to adjust the installation recommendations. We haven't any excessive heat since I installed it so it will be interesting to see if it cools sufficiently at those temperatures. The low noise factor is a huge draw.. Lorie. NY. Wed Jun 24 2026
