The only thing that threw us off during installation was the faucet handle. The bottom section of the handle controls the hot and cold direction rather than the top portion, which seemed unusual and made us think we might have installed something incorrectly. We contacted customer service, and they responded quickly and confirmed that everything was installed properly and that’s simply how the faucet is designed. I was hesitant to purchase this product since so many other reviewers complained about the plastic. However, it is literally identical to metal but without the buildup. Kohler specifically designed it this way with intentionality. It still feels substantial. It’s beautiful. I will circle back with another review once installed in our new bathroom. However, I think this was a more than fair price point considering the product. It’s still clearly Kohler quality, albeit something you may not expect from a traditional faucet. This set looks great out of the packaging. While the use of plastic for most of these pieces feels cheap, it's standard with almost all brands at this price point. I was remodeling my bathroom but left the tub shower in and did everything else. However, I forgot the last two pieces of the shower, the drain plug and a silver cap. Not sure what it’s for..
