This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. Only 4 stars because we have never used the tub to actually take a bath. Chose this size and shape during the remodel of our master bath and it worked really well in the space, which previously had a corner garden tub. Plumber had an easy time getting it in and it’s genuinely heavy enough that it doesn’t wobble or move at all. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Great tub, very wide for big shoulders but also doesn’t require a ton of water. Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the OEM overflow drain kit is very fragile and not easy to replicate with warehouse parts. You need to be able to tighten the threads securely and not have the thin PVC snap off!! Just plan on upgrading overflow drain kit for $39 from the get go a you’ll be satisfied with the tub!
