The depth of the basin is more than 8 inches, and the large reservoir is not easy to splash when in use. Beautiful bathroom vanity! Very solid construction. The assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow.  The doors have hidden soft close hinges that are very easy to adjust. There is plenty of storage under the sink. The cabinet does come with a quality ceramic sink which is very convenient and matches perfectly. Beautiful! Love the look of this vanity. We bought both the 36” and the 48” as our bathroom accommodates 2 and they are perfect. Love the color and the legs. They also have soft close drawers and doors which I didn’t realize when ordering, and was a nice surprise!
