Looks sleek and modern. We had contractors replacing our entire tubshower area, so we didn’t install it ourselves, but they commented that it was a nice tub and easy to install. For some reason, the drain and overflow accessories weren’t compatible with our plumbing system, so we had to swap those out, and I wish deer valley made it easier to find other options that are compatible not only with different plumbing but with different finishes. It does seem like the anti-slip will work, but I can also feel a bit on the sides where it’s less supported underneath. Overall I really like it.. Erin. Clarksburg, MD. Mon Aug 10 2026

This is so luxurious! I couldn’t have picked better! I was making a wet room. While it is a large bathroom, the size of the wet room was not huge. I really liked the idea of a freestanding tub, and came across this beauty. And because it has the straight side, you don’t have to clean behind it. As you can see, it is easy to get to the sides and the floor and walls for cleaning. It is so deep and wide, I’m glad I purchased an in-line hot water heater. When I sit straight up in it, the water comes almost to my armpits. I am only 5’1”. The sides are perfectly slanted. Because of my height, I have difficulty lying in it without bracing my feet. I can lay my head back and just float! Some other tubs I considered didn’t have nearly the depth and holding capacity. Obviously, I highly recommend! The price was reasonable as well. Shipping was quick. It arrived long before we were ready to put in place.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 14 2026

The bathtub is formed primarily from acrylic vacuum panels, which are then reinforced with fiberglass. This construction is more insulating and durable enough to withstand heavy blows without cracking or splintering. This bathtub is quite high quality lucite acrylic and the acrylic is non-porous, which means it is more durable, retains heat longer, and is easier to clean. Because the tub's base is made of fiberglass, this tub tends to be lighter than other materials on the market. You can enjoy style and warmth while soaking in this polished oval tub, and its modern design is a good match for any look creating the perfect environment for you to bathe and immerse yourself in the spa experience.

Defined by crisp lines and a clean, simple aesthetic, the KOHLER® Avec alcove bath complements a wide range of design languages. A slotted overflow and low step-over height combine to give you a deep soak while you relax against the softly angled lumbar support and raised neck rest. Avec also has an integral overflow and preinstalled toe-tap drain — color-matched to the bath — to make installation easier and create an amazing bathing experience. Settle in, lie back, and unwind in the Avec 60" x 42" rectangular alcove bath.
