This towel hanger is just what I needed. I had my downstairs bathroom renovated recently, and a contractor installed a shower. Also, they installed a pocket door (sliding) and advised me not to mount anything on the wall, unless I used short screws. I needed to find a way to hang my bath towels to dry. This towel hanger is 28 inches wide, which just about accommodates my towels that are 30 inches wide. After searching and searching, I finally found the perfect standing towel rack for my bathroom. The base is quite heavy and stays in place nicely. The assembly of this item was easy, and mostly, it is the height of this towel rack that I like most as it is taller (by 5 or 6 inches) than the normal standing towel racks I noticed for sale. Absolutely beautiful towel bar. The arms swivel around easily, so you can move one towel out of the way and turn another out for the next person using the shower. The arms are capped and smooth on the ends. The black is a perfect match with our bath floor! The marble, while beautiful, could be a bit larger and heavier.
