This lil dehumidifier is working great so far! I unboxed it, put it on the landing of my stairs so it could dehumidify my upstairs which is like an attic but it’s two bedrooms and a bath. Maybe 450 sq ft and my down stairs is 750 sq ft. Total1200 sq ft. This lil guy had casters so you can roll it around but on carpet a lil harder to do. It’s heavy so rolling it is best. Comes with a manual but honestly it’s self explanatory. It works with an online SmartLife app once you get that set up you change settings through the app not on the unit itself. I took photos of the app to show all the settings but if you don’t want the app you can change settings on the unit manually. It’s one or the other can’t change settings on unit if it’s on your WiFi app which I think is odd Dumping the water is easy just pull out the reservoir pick it up by the handle and take it first where you want to dump water, because it could spill out if you remove the lid first. To remove the lid is simple it has a small arm you push down on and the lid pops open, just take out off lid, dump water, put lid back in place and push down and it snaps into place. Push the reservoir back into unit till it’s secure and turn unit back on. Always turn unit off before removing the reservoir to dump water. I set mine on 35 so far I’ve dumped it 3 times in 24 hours it holds quite a bit of water. I can’t believe how much humidity was in this house. There’s a drain tube included as well.. Annette. US. We replaced an older unit with the new Waykar 120 pint dehumidifer. This unit is smaller and lighter than the model it replaced while still removing moisture at a higher rate. It's also a lot quieter than our older unit. Very easy to understand and operate the control panel. Had it set up in less than 5 minutes. I’m very pleased with this dehumidifier. My previous one lasted 20 years. This model is smaller, more compact and well made. I’m using it in my basement bar area and so far it seems to be working very well. I prefer emptying it manually rather than connecting the drainage hose. Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. This dehumidifier has a nice digital display and is easy to read. It has 2 fan speeds and I like the option to set a certain amount of time for the unit to run. Some of the control options are not explained in the user manual (like what is purpose of the “Air Supply” indicator). And the 5 safety instruction regarding cleaning the unit is an example of not being proofed by an English proficient person (photo of page provided). It’s easy to open and remove the water tank for emptying having both the tank and access to the reusable filter in the front is very handy. Although the dehumidifier is a bit heavy, it rolls easily to move from room to room. The unit’s humidity gauge shows a higher room level than our 2 digital gauges, but it seems to be doing a good job of removing humidity from our house. So far it is working well. I gave it 4 stars due to lack of detailed info for the Control Panel. UPDATE After using the unit for a bit, there is a noticeable hum even when running on low. I've never been able to keep my basement dry until i got this machine! It's compact and easy to move if I need to. I purchased a drain tube to have it run continuously in the basement and drain into the sump pump.
