In addition to filtering my water, it provides customizable temperature cold and near-boiling water (and every temperatures in between ) as well as carbonated water all in one convenient faucet. It is easy to install and quiet to run - it took me about an hour to install as a novice. Some of that time was spent emptying stuff from under my bar sink. I have nothing but good things to say about this system except for its size. For what it does, I’m not sure it could be smaller. However, it is LARGE. Because of my plumbing and the presence of a garbage disposal, getting this system in my cabinet took some doing and didn’t leave a lot of room for much else. I’d love for it to be smaller. I also think it would be nice for it to come with a CO2 bottle. Needing to buy additional pieces for such an expensive system lessens the luxury experience this system otherwise imparts. My system is split to a dedicated faucet and my 2 refrigerator's, ice makers and water dispensers. Water taste good, no issues. I did have to add a small pressure tank to keep the system from cycling multiple times when the ice maker was being filled or the water was being dispensed from the refrigerators. The refrigerators back pressure causes the RO system to shut off prematurely. With the added small waterdrop PWT ( pressure water tank) the system no longer Cycles and the pressure of the water coming out, has increased a small amount. The number of times per day the system comes on has also decreased because of the PWT. The system is not loud but noticeable. The reviews I've seen mainly complain about noise from the system. Which it's not my experience. Again, adding the PWT also reduces the numbem cycles the system runs per day. The system was easy to put in. Only pre-requirement is a dedicated electrical outlet under the sink. I split my power from my dishwasher. I ran my electrical line from the dishwasher under my cabinet into a dedicated dual Outlet. It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. Was very tired of hand held water filter pitchers. I needed something with a stationary spout and filters that lasted for maybe a couple of months as well as good tasting water. My system is split to a dedicated faucet and my 2 refrigerator's, ice makers and water dispensers. Water taste good, no issues. I did have to add a small pressure tank to keep the system from cycling multiple times when the ice maker was being filled or the water was being dispensed from the refrigerators. The refrigerators back pressure causes the RO system to shut off prematurely. With the added small waterdrop PWT ( pressure water tank) the system no longer Cycles and the pressure of the water coming out, has increased a small amount. The number of times per day the system comes on has also decreased because of the PWT. The system is not loud but noticeable. The reviews I've seen mainly complain about noise from the system. Which it's not my experience. Again, adding the PWT also reduces the numbem cycles the system runs per day. The system was easy to put in. Only pre-requirement is a dedicated electrical outlet under the sink. I split my power from my dishwasher. I ran my electrical line from the dishwasher under my cabinet into a dedicated dual Outlet. I am definitely thrilled to have purchased this!! I have humidifiers that I use distilled water in, and buying jugs, though somewhat inexpensive, was starting to add up. The unit is easy to put together and you will hear the fan going during distillation. All you have to do is clean in between each use and start again when ready (at least letting it cool for 30 mins in between however).
