These aluminum screen hanger sets by make-2-fit are constructed of aluminum and steel components and come in a corrosion-resistant, bronze-plated finish. Included with these sets are two screen hangers, one spline channel bail latch, a ball-head screw, and two fasteners, per individual set. This type of screen-hanging hardware is for use with 5/16 in. Thick aluminum screen frames, specifically for use on horizontal and vertical (single and double-hung) sliding windows. The screen frame bail latches install into the spline channels of aluminum window screens, where the vinyl spline is used to secure them into place. Spline channel bail latches like these are used to hold the bottom of aluminum screens to wood-framed window sills, and they are engaged when the aluminum loop is hooked over the ball-head screws mounted on the sloped sills.
