This lever is an ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 certified security lever that is ADA compliant. This privacy lever is best used in interior bedroom and bathroom applications where privacy is required. Both levers are operated by the thumb turn on the inside. The outside lever is unlocked by an emergency key.
