This is nice paint grade trim. Pricy but it is Solid poplar, ribbed back with reeded front. I would not stain this would because it is poplar which naturally has a green tint. You may receive cupped trim due to the profile like I did. I was able to lay on concrete with weights on top and flatten out the piece. I would recommend this trim considering the alternatives. Corner blocks are used with casing mouldings in the top corners around door frames or around the four corners of windows.
