This trash bin does have the promised soft close foot pedal and it's nice that it comes with extra bags. It fits the aesthetic of my bathroom with brass fittings without having the entire can be gold-colored. My two gripes with this trash can are 1. It feels relatively flimsy compared to stainless steel bathroom trash cans I've had in the past and 2. The texture of the gold paint on the trash can trim is not very smooth. At this price point, a Kohler or simple human bathroom step trash can are a lot better value.
