My system is split to a dedicated faucet and my 2 refrigerator's, ice makers and water dispensers. Water taste good, no issues. I did have to add a small pressure tank to keep the system from cycling multiple times when the ice maker was being filled or the water was being dispensed from the refrigerators. The refrigerators back pressure causes the RO system to shut off prematurely. With the added small waterdrop PWT ( pressure water tank) the system no longer Cycles and the pressure of the water coming out, has increased a small amount. The number of times per day the system comes on has also decreased because of the PWT. The system is not loud but noticeable. The reviews I've seen mainly complain about noise from the system. Which it's not my experience. Again, adding the PWT also reduces the numbem cycles the system runs per day. The system was easy to put in. Only pre-requirement is a dedicated electrical outlet under the sink. I split my power from my dishwasher. I ran my electrical line from the dishwasher under my cabinet into a dedicated dual Outlet. The distiller works beautifully. One really must read the WHOLE set of instructions before starting. Some important pre-startup details about pre-cleaning are buried in the narrative. I am definitely thrilled to have purchased this!! I have humidifiers that I use distilled water in, and buying jugs, though somewhat inexpensive, was starting to add up. The unit is easy to put together and you will hear the fan going during distillation. All you have to do is clean in between each use and start again when ready (at least letting it cool for 30 mins in between however).
