I’m an overall fan of the Amaryn platform bed. It has an elegant, yet simple look about it that goes well with many decor styles. We’ve already gotten several compliments on it! I also like how strong it is and that it holds plenty of weight (it’s in our guest room so it’s best to be available to everyone). This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down.
