This desk is exactly as pictured and exactly what I was expecting. I wanted a very simple desk design and that is what I got. Some people may prefer more bells and whistles, like drawers or a pull out keyboard shelf, so keep in mind those things are not included. With that said, the quality of the manufactured wood is excellent and the whole desk is very well made. Assembly was also very easy, just add legs! This desk is very Beautiful and the size is perfect. My biggest issue with this desk is how tedious it was to put together and the instructions were not very clear. I am not very handy and it took me three days to put the desk together. I would start it and then get so frustrated after an hour that I had to just quit and then work on the next day. I ended up getting confused on some of the screws and using the wrong ones and didn’t realize it till the very end when I couldn’t get it together so then I had to go back and take some of it apart to remove the screws and switch them to the correct ones. I also had a horrible time getting the drawers into the desk those I also switched which I didn’t know it mattered but apparently it did and once they’re in you cannot remove them. My boyfriend help me switch out the drawer fronts. Again I am not very handy so this could just be me not knowing what I’m doing again I am not very handy so this could just be me not knowing what I’m doing. This is a great desk. The instructions were somewhat difficult to follow but still put it together in an hour. The mix of rustic wood and black metal really elevate the look of the desk. The raised shelf for the monitors are space saving. Knocking off one star because the drawers are very flimsy. They are made of fabric. I doubt you could put anything heavy in them.. Megan.
